A Lesson Taught by a Pot of Uncooked Rice

A Lesson Taught by a Pot of Uncooked Rice Image by https://pixabay.com/ 5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; Proverbs 3:5 (NKJV)           This afternoon, as my mom goes out to a nearby market place to pick up the goods that she bought, she still left me one single command, “as the rice hits the boiling point, turn off the stove. Just wait for me by then and it’s now my call.”           Being concern as I am, in my mind, I will just let the pot of rice to boiled then I will just lessen the heat so that it will be cooked just right, because that’s how I learned it and I know I am right. So I thought.           As my mom approaches home, she asked me if I turn off the stove. I said that I just lessen the heat by the time it boils. Then she explains to me that if I did it that way, the rice will be overcooked because of too much water in it that is yet to be evaporated by the heat. I need to turn off first the stove and let t

A Christian's Stand Against The Wrong Pride

One of the most hot topic in the society today is the Celebration of the Pride Month.
What is Pride Month?

Gay pride or LGBT pride is the positive stance against discrimination and violence toward lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) people to promote their self-affirmation, dignity, equality rights, increase their visibility as a social group, build community, and celebrate sexual diversity and gender variance. Pride, as opposed to shame and social stigma, is the predominant outlook that bolsters most LGBT rights movements throughout the world. Pride has lent its name to LGBT-themed organizations, institutes, foundations, book titles, periodicals, a cable TV station, and the Pride Library.
Ranging from solemn to carnivalesque, pride events are typically held during LGBT Pride Month or some other period that commemorates a turning point in a country's LGBT history, for example Moscow Pride in May for the anniversary of Russia's 1993 decriminalization of homosexuality. Some pride events include LGBT pride parades and marches, rallies, commemorations, community days, dance parties, and festivals.
As of 2017, plans were advancing by the State of New York to host in 2019 the largest international celebration of LGBT pride in history, Stonewall 50 – WorldPride NYC 2019,[7] to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots. In New York City, the Stonewall 50 – WorldPride NYC 2019 events produced by Heritage of Pride will be enhanced through a partnership made with the I LOVE NY program's LGBT division and shall include a welcome center during the weeks surrounding the Stonewall 50 – WorldPride NYC 2019 events that will be open to all. Additional commemorative arts, cultural, and educational programming to mark the 50th anniversary of the rebellion at the Stonewall Inn will be taking place throughout the city and the world.[7]
Common symbols of pride are the rainbow or pride flag, the lowercase Greek letter lambda (λ), the pink triangle and the black triangle, these latter two reclaimed from use as badges of shame in Nazi concentration camps.[8]

The Sad Fact About Christianity and a Nation that Claims to be Christian
The thing here is Christianity and the Church is being corrupted today by people who claim to know the truth yet compromises the truth in itself -the very same truth that supposedly give us freedom from the bondages of sin, Satan and death. It is being compromize by whom?

1. Ignorant People who knows not the truth. They don't know what they are talking about.
2. Carnal Christian who supposedly know the truth yet they don't want to be so-called "bashers " of people who fight for equality of rights thus they console people with the thought that it's okay to love that or do that, just don't touch the subject in the Bible - it's a whole different thing. No, my friend, you don't know what you are compromising. Spirit is Spirit. Flesh is flesh. Live by the Spirit and you will not gratify the lust of flesh. Yes, it's two different thing. It's either you are on the side of God or you are on the side of Satan. You can not say you love God, yet you affirm to people who do ways that is an abomination to the Lord. In fact this is what Jesus said to the church of Laodicea who has a bias and lukewarm faith
3:14 "To the angel of the church in Laodicea write: These are the words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the ruler of God's creation.
3:15 I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other!
3:16 So, because you are lukewarm--neither hot nor cold--I am about to spit you out of my mouth.
3:17 You say, 'I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.' But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked.
3:18 I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see.
3:19 Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest, and repent. (Revelations 3:15-19)
3.Selective Christian who only apply the good promises of the Bible but when it comes to verses that says crucify the flesh and anything that is in it, it is no longer applicable to him or her. That is wrong. The Bible is clear , for we are crucified with Christ, and to carry your own Cross means death to self life - no longer ours but Christ. Jesus'death freed us from our past sins but as we are being sanctified by the Holy Spirit of God and be conformed to the image and likeness of the Lord Jesus Christ, the ultimate salvation always comes up with a price. What is the Cost of our eternal life in Him as we inherit the Kingdom of God?

Jesus said, come, take up your Cross and follow me. That is death to us. Surrendering our lives to Jesus means no more right for us.
So what am I saying here.
Yesterday, I saw a survey poll from a popular Filipino television network . The question being raised is are we approved to LGBTQ+ marriage?
Hmm. . . I normally don't want to pay attention on obvious question and non sensical matter like this but God let me see something. It is non sense for me, but for a crook generation who neither knew God and His words it is a very sensitive topic that needs to be badly address. And as I read the answers of many Filipinos, my heart is aggrieved in behalf of the Holy Spirit. I never mind the others opinion but if a person ever used the name of God in vain or compromise His word by using selective gospel only just to fit Him with your stiffedneck heart, I believe, someone must need to make a stand.

1. They say that God is love and wants us to love others including LGBTQ+ and don't be judgmental because we are all sinners.
Well, I say that God is love but His love is equivalent to His justice, for our God will never tolerate and can't even look at sin.
5:16 So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature.
5:17 For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the sinful nature. They are in conflict with each other, so that you do not do what you want.
5:18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under law.
5:19 The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery;
5:20 idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions
5:21 and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.
5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
5:23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
5:24 Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires.
5:25 Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.
(Galatians 5:23-25)
1:18 The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness,
1:19 since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them.
1:20 For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities--his eternal power and divine nature--have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.
1:21 For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened.
1:22 Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools
1:23 and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like mortal man and birds and animals and reptiles.
1:24 Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another.
1:25 They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator--who is forever praised. Amen.
1:26 Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones.
1:27 In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.
1:28 Furthermore, since they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done.
1:29 They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips,
1:30 slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents;
1:31 they are senseless, faithless, heartless, ruthless.
1:32 Although they know God's righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them. (Romans 1:18-32)
The Bible is clear, those who did and are doing the above sins and the like deserve death. So don't twist His Word. God loves us that's why He gave His son to died for our sins and if we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgives us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness only if we completely live for Him. Galatians 2:20 says for I am crucified with Christ. It is not I who live, but Christ lives in me, the life I live in the body, I live by faith to the Son of God who loves me and gave Himself for me. No equal rights. It is God's right.
Yes, you are right, all of us are sinners. For all have sinned and fall short from the glory of God (Romans 3:23) Nobody has the right to judge among man. The truth is nobody is judging anybody. It is already the very word of God that sets a judgment to a generation who will never believe God, who will not never repent from their sins, and who will never put their trust in Him. In fact, we will all face the great white throne of judgment of God wherein He will judge us according to everything that we did in this life. The Word of God said it, I believe it. That settles everything.

2. They say, that God loves third and fourth sexes. If not why did He created them.
The truth is God only created two gender :male and female.
Genesis 1:26-27 says 1:26 Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground."
1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.
God love the man and woman but not the sin. That's why after they committed sin against God they were cast out from the very presence of God, but there's still hope because God shows His great love for us that while we are still sinners Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8)
God only created male and female. Any in between is not included in the Word of God. It is just created by men. In fact, God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah for the very same thing. Read the book of Genesis and you will see the truth of it. The 🌈 sign is the sign of victory of God after he destroyed all sinful men except for Noah and his family and a promise that He will no longer destroy and exterminate man with water. But if you read the book of Revelation , He will come back and destroy the world with fire because of sin.
As God only created male and female, likewise, marriage is also for one man and one woman only.
All true love molded by God is a Covenant of Marriage
23The man said, “This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called ‘woman,’ for she was taken out of man.” 24For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh. 25The man and his wife were both naked, and they felt no shame. (Genesis 2:23-25)
When a man and a woman unites together and became one means that they are marrying each other. All true love designed by God ever since from the beginning of times is always inside the context of marriage.
Human mindset entreats marriage as just a contract of union between two parties or entities – the man and woman, that’s why it can also be easily broke through a matter of annulment, legal separation or divorce. In this crook generation also, marriage is now being corrupted as it can now easily infiltrated by union of two people of the same gender. Moreover, young people of today no longer value marriage as much as they value temporary pleasure and cohabitation. As a result, many children were born out of wedlock and broken homes.
So what is really the true meaning of marriage in the eyes of God?
Let us look first on how God designed marriage in the life of Adam. Adam declares in Genesis 2 verse twenty-three, this is now the bones of my bones and flesh of my flesh, meaning Adam already recognizes the woman as a part of his life and a part of his self; then verse 24 says that he leave his father and mother and be united to his wife and they became one. Now there are certain typology here, because we know that Adam is the first man and why is that the Bible has something to say about mother and father? Well, when a person is still living with his/her parents technically means of a dependency to them. To leave your parents means a sense of responsibility to your life and when you finally have a family of your own, it is also means of taking full responsibility to them. To become one with someone means your life is no longer yours. It already belongs to someone else and whenever you make a decision, you have to consider also what that other person or your other half has to say about the matter to whom decision has to be made.
To summarize, marriage is all about being a part of someone and to take responsibility for that person’s life. It is a covenant between a husband and wife to live together forever. Marriage is the most beautiful design of God as it perfectly represents the relationship of God to the Church – Jesus as the brides groom and the church as His glorious bride. Having Jesus as your groom means He is now a part of us and He is now taking responsibility to our life for it is no longer ours. (Galatians 2:20) Why saying so? Remember, when a woman marries, she left her house and her name as she now assumes the name of her husband. When we finally belong to Christ, we also assumes the name of Christ that’s why we are called Christians, no longer I.
Ephesians 5 also make a very profound explanation of this mystery of marriage as an allegory of what Christ intends for His relationship with the church:
25Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her 26to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, 27and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. 28In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. 29After all, people have never hated their own bodies, but they feed and care for them, just as Christ does the church— 30for we are members of his body. 31“For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.” 32This is a profound mystery—but I am talking about Christ and the church. 33However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband. (Ephesians 5:25-32)
As a faithful husband, Christ will now take charge and take the full responsibility of our life and as a faithful wife, we must honor Him, respect Him, and submit to Him in return. This is the mystery of the covenant of marriage, and Romans 8 says, Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? No in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loves us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:35,37-39)
Likewise, marriage also is an irrevocable covenant and as much as we did it in front of the altar of God, it is also being redeemed by His blood. Nothing can separates- not divorce, annulment or legal separation. In the eyes of God, you may physically absent from each other, but spiritually, you are still entangle to each other.
The covenant of marriage is also a genuine thing that entitles respect and bears genuine fruits, that’s why many couples who have no children feels incomplete. To be married to Christ Spiritually, we must also bear fruits – the fruits of the Holy Spirit.
22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 24Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires. 25Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. 26Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other. (Galatians 5:22-5)

3. They say it's not okay for the same gender to get married but it's alright for them to cohabitate or marry outside the church
Again, please refer to number one . God will never tolerate sin. God loves us that's why He corrects and discipline us. We always fall short from the presence of God because of sin, and our sin is enough to disqualify us to the Kingdom of God. Wag natin ipagpilitan ang Mali. White is white, black is black . Let your yes be yes and no be no. Its either you are of God or you are not.
Marrying outside the premises of the altar of God means you are not honoring God on your marriage and relationship (not to mention the fact that marrying of the same gender alone is also not honoring God all the more). It also same thing with cohabitation.
If you are approved of the issue that is being raised above, please do not quote the Scriptures. Its just only a selective truth. A truth that is not 100%true is still false. It must be the absolute truth.. You don't know what you are really talking about. You are only storing a wrath on yourself.
Galatians 1:1-8 says :
1:1 Paul, an apostle--sent not from men nor by man, but by Jesus Christ and God the Father, who raised him from the dead--
1:2 and all the brothers with me, To the churches in Galatia:
1:3 Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ,
1:4 who gave himself for our sins to rescue us from the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father,
1:5 to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
1:6 I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you by the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel--
1:7 which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ.
1:8 But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let him be eternally condemned!
If God calls you to a genuine repentance today, it is still not too late. Jesus said to a prostitute woman whom when being Caught in her prostituting was almost being stoned To death by the Jews, "See, nobody stoned you . Go home, sin no more. " That is the overall message of us who were saved and is still being saved day by day - to completely despise sin and not be equally yoke. By completely doing what is right we put to silence evil . Test every Spirit. The true message of God reveals to us the secrets of our hearts (1 Corinthian 14:25), just like the Samaritan woman who tells the people "He told me everything that I ever did. Could it be the Messiah? "
The Word of God is not for consolation but for our reproof and correction.
Nobody is judging anybody. God is clear
6:1 Brothers, if someone is caught in a sin, you who are spiritual should restore him gently. But watch yourself, or you also may be tempted.
6:2 Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.
6:3 If anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, he deceives himself.
6:4 Each one should test his own actions. Then he can take pride in himself, without comparing himself to somebody else,
6:5 for each one should carry his own load.
6:6 Anyone who receives instruction in the word must share all good things with his instructor.
6:7 Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.
6:8 The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. (Galatians 6:1-8)

Let us all be like minded with Christ and may the God of peace pour out His Spirit in us.

“This is how we know what true love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers. (1 John 3:16) Laying our lives means sharing the very life of Christ. It is not only about preaching the word or quoting the scriptures, but becoming the living Word ourselves- the word who became flesh (John 1:14) like Jesus did. We could do that by doing little things into people surrounding our circle or getting involve for a higher cause. What are you willing to do to love God and other people?
